What is your favorite item in your workspace?
Finishing the desk-top and affixing it to the Fully frame felt a bit like crafting my own lightsaber. I'd always wanted a standing desk with a ton of open space made from natural materials. The finish took about 5 coats over 4 days and I've re-organized the underside of the desk 3 times over to accommodate various setups and trim down on visible cords.
What sparks creativity?
I had a college professor tell me to "get off Dribbble" in my 3rd year. Some of the best advice I've ever received. I try to derive inspiration from books, games, film, and anything else I can get my hands on. I keep a cool little scrapbook of nifty packaging pieces I come across.
How do you manage work-life balance?
Already made this a resolution for 2023. Creativity hits me at odd hours and I'm learning how to harness that on a tighter schedule. Step one: waking up earlier.
What do you do in your free time?
Our golden retriever became a real water dog this year and my wife and I have been quite pre-occupied throwing toys into the pool for him to fetch. Otherwise, weightlifting and occasionally booting up Rocket League with a few friends.
If you enjoyed this edition of Workspaces, please consider sending it to someone that you think would love it just as much! ❤️
