What is the most useful item in your workspace?
My Bose noise-cancelling headphones that I got a couple years ago. Even when there's not a lot of noise around me, wearing them makes me feel in full focus mode and my productivity increases - and even more when I'm working standing up!
How do you spark creativity?
Brainstorming with my team has no equal! My creativity is sparked by others' creativity, back and forth. It's so important to me to be in an environment where we're not afraid of pitching a ton of ideas, good and bad. Shyness and fear of embarrassment are creativity's worst enemy.
What's the first thing you do when you sit down to work for the day?
Clean up my space if I left anything the day before. Turn on my reMarkable and list down what my priorities are for the day, simply from what comes to mind, before diving into my computer/emails and adding to the list.
What interests you about working in the physical workspace item space?
I chose to join the Ergonofis team over 2 years ago because I wanted to be able to positively impact the lives and health of remote/hybrid workers, like myself, by promoting the benefits of an ergonomic workspace. We've become more and more sedentary so if I can help people have an appropriate work environment where they'll spend most of their day, I'll be happy! Working for a brand that made reducing their environmental impact a priority throughout all of their processes was also of huge importance to me, so I was really happy when Ergonofis got its B Corp certification last year, reinforcing all the sustainable initiatives that were already in place.
