What is the most recent item that you’ve added to your workspace?
Surprisingly, the latest addition to my workspace is a new camera, the Sony A7 IV. I picked it up recently and I’ve been really happy with it so far. It’s a solid upgrade that’s already proving useful for both creative and client work.
What is one change you’d like to make to your current workspace?
I don’t think this workspace will ever be “finished” — it’s constantly evolving. In contrast to my previous setup, which was minimal and almost sterile (all white everything), my current space is becoming more lively and personal. I’ve started incorporating items that reflect who I am and what inspires me, from travel mementos to family keepsakes. I wouldn’t change anything per se, but I definitely want to keep adding to it: a carpet, more posters, a mirror, more seating, plants. It’s becoming a living, breathing reflection of me and my creativity.
Walk us through your morning routine — what’s the first thing you do at your desk?
My mornings start when my daughter wakes up, usually around 8AM. I make breakfast (typically eggs), play with her a bit, then head to the gym. That workout is non-negotiable. At least an hour, or I’m a grumpy mess. After that, I finally get to my desk with a freshly pulled espresso. I usually plan my to-do list the day or even the week before, so I know exactly what task to dive into. Every day looks a little different, but good espresso and noise-canceling headphones are the constants.
What’s one productivity trick that actually works for you?
Having a kid. Ever since my daughter Sophie was born, I’ve become way more productive simply because I don’t have time to waste. It forced me to cut out all the non-essential stuff: unnecessary meetings, bloated to-do lists, distractions. I’ve started optimizing everything. It might not be a universal hack, but for me, having a small child has been the ultimate productivity booster.
