What is the most recent item that you've added to your workspace?

❝

The IKEA black pegboard on my wall is the last thing I've added, which is a great value for me because it helps me to keep my space clean and free from stuff that I don't use that often. Also they're always at the same place so it's easy to find and lastly it's very aesthetic as it fills my white wall very wall.

How do you spark creativity?

❝

My daily life and that of my friends are a source of inspiration. I'm passionate about designing products, solving problems and building things from scratch. Listening to people complain or tell stories about their lives is a huge source of inspiration for me, because that's how I find new ideas I would like to start: something they're struggling with, a hobby they would like to learn, places they like to frequent, etc. For each of us, our close environment is full of inspiration.

What does your typical day look like?

❝

I'm not a morning person to be honest, but I try to make sure I'm awake early before starting my work. So I always take 30 mins to watch the news, reading Medium articles and listen to some podcasts: I do a watch and some market intelligence to learn new things and keep myself up-to-date. Then, my day is punctuated by daily meetings with my team, followed by the various goals for the day or week. I try to alternate as much as possible between meetings and forced focus times, to keep the necessary productivity and creativity. I like to stay at home, which is why I set up my own coffee bar and am happy to take a break and make an espresso or a luxury latte to feel energized. When I wrap up my work, I like to continue working on personal projects and playing video games late into the night. One tap on a button and all the room lights are changing for an atmosphere more suitable for gaming.

What do you enjoy most about WFH life?

❝

I was not initially a remote work lover. Still today, if you give me the opportunity to go to the office I'd do so. But I'm passionate about my work and wanted to work for companies that I like, and motivating topics. That's why I decided to work from home and keep flexibility while not moving from the appartment I bought few years ago. It's been 5 years now that I'm fully remote and what I enjoy the most is the freedom it gives me in organizing my day between personal stuff, work, friends. It's a good life balance and I've unlocked the opportunity to work for companies I've would have never thought before.
